General FAQS

Absolutely! You don’t need to know anything about flowers to order from The Wild Posy.

If you’re happy to leave everything completely in my hands, Florist’s Choice is perfect. Simply choose your size and I’ll take care of the flowers, colours and design using the best of what’s looking beautiful that week.

If you do know something – maybe their favourite colour is pink, you’d like something bright and joyful, or you want the flowers to feel soft and romantic – then let’s go bespoke. Give me as much or as little as you know and I’ll take care of the creative bit!

Florist’s Choice gives me complete creative freedom. You choose from one of three sizes and leave the flowers, colour palette and design entirely to me. Every week will be a little different depending on what’s in season and looking its best.

Bespoke is perfect if you’d like some input. And you definitely don’t need to know your flower names! A favourite colour, an occasion, a feeling or a style you love is plenty for me to work with.

That’s all part of the beauty of working with seasonal flowers! If you have a particular flower in mind for a bespoke order and it isn’t available, I’ll suggest beautiful alternatives that give us a similar colour, texture or overall feel. There’s nearly always another gorgeous option.

Absolutely! Hand-tied bouquets are only one part of what I create.

If you’re looking for a bespoke arrangement for a gift, your home or a special occasion – or you simply have an idea you’d love to bring to life with flowers – get in touch. I love creating something a little different!

Whichever way feels easiest! You can use the enquiry form on the website, message me on social media, email me or give me a call.

For Florist’s Choice, simply choose your size and leave the rest to me. For anything bespoke, tell me as much or as little as you know and we’ll take it from there.

My usual collection days are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with weekly orders closing at 12pm on Tuesday, or earlier if I’m fully booked.

If you know you need flowers for a particular date, you’re always welcome to get in touch earlier.

Looking for something bespoke or need flowers outside of my usual collection days? Please ask! I may be able to accommodate other dates, and it’s always worth checking even if you’ve left things a little last minute.

Yes! You can collect your flowers from The Wild Posy in Kenilworth by prior arrangement, and I also offer local delivery within Kenilworth.

Once your order is confirmed, I’ll arrange all the details with you so everything is nice and easy.

Whatever’s easiest for you! I can accept card payments, bank transfer or cash. I’ll confirm all the payment details with you when your order is booked.

Absolutely! If your flowers are a gift, I can include a handwritten message from you – just tell me what you’d like it to say when you order.

Or, if you’d rather write something yourself, I can include a blank card for you to add your own message.

Your flowers will come with care guidance, but a few simple things will help keep them looking gorgeous for longer.

Pop them into a clean vase with fresh water, remove any foliage sitting below the waterline and keep them away from direct sunlight and heat. Refresh the water regularly and give the stems another little trim every few days.

Different flowers naturally have different vase lives, so you can also remove any blooms that have finished and keep enjoying the rest.

Just get in touch with me as soon as you can. I completely understand that plans sometimes change and I’ll always do my best to help.

As fresh flowers are often ordered especially for you, what I’m able to change or refund may depend on how close we are to your collection or delivery date and whether your flowers have already been ordered or prepared.

Wedding FAQs

Absolutely – I’d love to hear all about your wedding!

Whether you already have a vision for your flowers or haven’t got a clue where to begin, we can start with your day – your venue, colours, season and how you’d love everything to feel.

From bouquets and buttonholes to ceremony flowers, tables and larger floral pieces, everything can be created around you and your day. Get in touch with your date and whatever ideas you have so far and we can start chatting flowers!

As soon as you have your date and venue confirmed, you’re more than welcome to get in touch – you definitely don’t need to have all your flower ideas figured out first!

The earlier the better, particularly for popular wedding dates. But if your wedding is a little closer, please still ask. If I have availability, I’d love to hear about it.

Absolutely! You don’t need to know your flower names or arrive with a perfectly planned Pinterest board.

We can start with what you do know – your venue, outfits, colours, season, the style of your day and how you want everything to feel. From there, I can help turn all those little details into flowers that feel completely at home in your wedding.

Your wedding flowers can be completely tailored to your day. This might include bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, buttonholes, corsages, ceremony flowers, table arrangements and larger statement floral pieces or installations.

You certainly don’t need to have all of those! Tell me about your plans and your venue and we can work out which flowers will work beautifully for your day.

Yes please! Pinterest boards, saved Instagram posts, photographs, colour palettes, stationery, outfits – anything that gives me a feel for what you love is really helpful.

I won’t recreate another florist’s work exactly, but inspiration is a brilliant way for me to understand what you’re drawn to and create something that feels completely your own.

Absolutely. Having an idea of your overall flower budget is really helpful as it means I can design with that in mind and help you decide where your flowers will have the most impact.

If you have no idea what a realistic flower budget looks like yet, that’s okay too! Tell me what you’re imagining for your day and we can start from there.

Yes, where your wedding flowers require it. If you’re having ceremony flowers, table arrangements, installations or other venue flowers, setup can form part of your floral proposal.

Every wedding and venue is different, so we’ll chat through access, timings, setup and anything that needs collecting afterwards as part of the planning.

Events & Celebrations FAQs

Absolutely! Birthdays, baby showers, dinner parties, celebrations, corporate events – if you’ve got something special planned, I’d love to hear about it.

Tell me a little about your event, the space and how you’d like it to feel, and we can create something beautiful to bring it all together.

It really depends on the event – and that’s the fun part!

From beautiful table flowers and smaller arrangements to statement pieces and floral installations, everything can be designed around your space, occasion and budget.

You don’t need to come to me knowing exactly what you need. Tell me what you’re planning and any ideas you have, and we can work out the flowers together.

Of course! Whether you have a fully planned colour palette or just a general feeling you’d like to create, send it my way.

Invitations, mood boards, photographs of the venue or even a few saved pictures can all help me understand the look you’re going for and create flowers that bring everything together.

Common questions

Sympathy Flowers FAQs

Yes. I’d be honoured to create something personal and meaningful for someone you love.

Perhaps they had a favourite flower or colour, loved their garden, or there’s something you’d particularly like reflected in the flowers. Or you may have absolutely no idea what to choose – that’s completely fine too.

You’re very welcome to give me a call and have a chat, or send me a message with whatever you know so far. We can create something together that feels right for the person you’re remembering.

Absolutely. You don’t need to know the names of flowers or exactly what arrangement you need before getting in touch.

Tell me a little about the person you’re remembering, anything they particularly loved and what you have in mind so far – even if that’s very little. I can talk you through the options and help create something that feels personal to them.

Of course. If there’s a flower or colour that holds a special meaning, please tell me and I’ll do my very best to include it.

Flowers are seasonal, so particular varieties aren’t always available, but if something can’t be sourced I can suggest a beautiful alternative while keeping the meaning and overall feel of the arrangement in mind.

Yes. I can arrange delivery directly to a funeral director where required.

Just provide me with the funeral director’s details, the date and any timings you’ve been given, and I’ll arrange the rest with you.
